A trusted member of our extended team, Dr. Ginieczki is a Board Certified cardiologist by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She is the founder and owner of Colorado Veterinary Cardiology and brings truly exceptional experience in diagnosing and treating dogs and cats with heart disease and has a particular interest in treating subclinical heart disease (heart disease in patients without clinical signs), congestive heart failure and feline heart disease. Dr. Ginieczki is also thoroughly trained in echocardiography, the clinical discipline of veterinary cardiology and catheter-based techniques that offer minimally invasive options at correcting congenital heart disease.
Dr. Ginieczki received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. After earning her DVM she completed a small animal internship at Purdue University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Following her internship, she completed a combined cardiology residency and Master’s Program at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. She has also performed research and published articles related to many aspects of veterinary cardiology, including the topics of therapy for Atrial Fibrillation, anticoagulant therapy and pacemaker patients.
