Growing up in both Long Island, NY and Phoenix, AZ; Alisha has always had a passion for helping animals and dreamed of being a veterinarian as long as she can remember. In pursuit of her dream, she received her bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2022. After graduating from veterinary school, she moved back to Arizona and spent her first two years out of school at a small animal general practice hospital just like overland Animal Hospital! She has also traveled internationally to Belize, Mexico, Ecuador, and Puerto Rico to provide veterinary care to animals in need.

Alisha is excited to be back in her favorite state practicing with the amazing team at overland Animal Hospital and Pet Resort. Her professional interest include surgery, dentistry, radiology and preventative medicine.

Outside of the hospital, Alisha enjoys hiking (and has summited 34 of Colorado's 58 peaks above 14000') cycling, rock climbing, skiing and everything else the great outdoors has to offer! She loves to spend the rest of her time with her husband, Ty as well as her family, friends, cat (Louie) and dogs (Caamp and Java) *Pictured is Alisha and her heart cat, Max who sadly passed away in 2023 from kidney disease*
