Dr. Megan Pansiera

Megan grew up in Asheville, North Carolina and went to UNC-Chapel Hill for undergrad (go Tarheels!).  She then attended the University of Tennessee for veterinary school.  After veterinary school, she accepted a small-animal internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver (home of Animal Planet’s Emergency Vets) from 2009-2010. Since that time, she has been practicing small animal medicine, and joined Overland in 2015.  Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine.  She loves all animals, but especially the big, sweet, dumb dogs (she has two at home). 

After knee surgery in 2024 she has had to pivot away from her beloved CrossFit, triathlons, snowboarding, and running to move into the gentler pursuits of hiking, cycling, and swimming but is embracing the new midlife chapter.  In her spare time, she's either doing the activities above, planning a trip, or spending time with her family.
